One Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run on 6th Avenue [Tucson, AZ]
Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver on 6th Avenue near 44th Street in Tucson
TUCSON, AZ (October 13, 2020) – Emergency crews sent one person to the hospital after a hit-and-run on 6th Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near 44th Street.
Based on a report, the victim suffered serious injuries after being struck by a blue Toyota or Mazda with tinted windows. After the incident, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
As of today, investigators with the Tucson Police Department are still searching for the suspect. In addition, they said the front driver’s side fender of the vehicle is gray and the rear bumper is black. They are asking anyone with information to call 88-CRIME.
