Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Sherman’s Deli & Bakery Delivery Van on Ramon Road in Palm Springs

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (October 13, 2020) – Police confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident involving a Sherman’s Deli & Bakery delivery van on Ramon Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened between Avenida Caballeros and Grenfall Road at approximately 6:15 AM on Tuesday.
 
Based on a report, responding officers found the man down in the eastbound lanes. However, officials did not state the details that led to the collision. The scene was about 100 yards east of the nearest crosswalk.
 
As a result, emergency crews said the pedestrian died at the scene. At this point, officials have not yet released the victim’s identity pending kin notification.
 
In addition, the driver remained at the scene. This time, Palm Springs police continue to investigate the case. However, they don’t have additional details to share.
