SACRAMENTO, CA (October 13, 2020) — One person died Saturday night following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Rio Linda Boulevard near Las Palmas Avenue.
 
According to news reports, police arrived at the scene around 9:30 p.m. and found an unconscious victim on the road. There, police learned that he had sustained injuries consistent with that of being hit by a car.
 
Not long after, the victim died at the scene and the car that struck him left the area before police’s arrival.
