Police Pursuit Leads to Skateboard Accident on Valencia Street [San Francisco, CA]

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 6, 2020) – Police confirmed that a Tuesday evening pursuit led to a skateboard accident in the 1200 block of Valencia Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near 23rd Street at approximately 6:08 PM.
Based on a report, San Francisco police were in pursuit of an armed robbery suspect at that time. Due to an unknown reason, their patrol car struck a man on a skateboarder.
As a result, medics treated the skater at the scene for injuries. They did not transport the victim to a hospital.
The crash remained under investigation by the police. At this point, officials don’t have additional information to share.
