Woman Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Valencia Road [Tucson, AZ]
Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Vehicle on Valencia Road near Swan Road in Tucson
TUCSON, AZ (September 29, 2020) – A woman suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on Valencia Road last Tuesday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at the intersection of Swan Road, just west of 10 Freeway.
Officials did not release the details that led to the accident. However, based on a report, a vehicle struck the victim on the road. The driver stayed on the scene after the incident.
As a result, emergency crews said the victim was seriously hurt. They took her to the hospital for treatment.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the collision. At this point, additional information was not available.
