One Critical, One Arrested after DUI Crash on Herndon Avenue near Marks Avenue in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (September 3, 2020) – Police arrested Jordan Witrado after a DUI crash on Herndon Avenue on Thursday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Marks Avenue.
Based on a report, the 34-year-old suspect was driving nearly 90 miles per hour in a Chevrolet Tahoe when he lost control of the car. Subsequently, he hit two other vehicles, including a Camaro that then crashed into a tree.
As a result, the Camaro driver sustained serious injuries in the incident. Medics sent the victim to the hospital in critical condition. Investigators did not release the condition of the other driver involved in the crash.
Police said Witrado tried to run away, but officers found him moments later. They arrested for felony hit-and-run and DUI.
