TUCSON, AZ (September 2, 2020) – Emergency crews sent a bicyclist to the hospital after a hit-and-run accident on Sabino Canyon Road on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened near Summerset Drive.
 
Based on a report, a vehicle struck the victim near the intersection. Subsequently, the driver fled the scene.
 
PCSD said medics took the bicyclist to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
