TUCSON, AZ (September 1, 2020) — A 76-year-old woman died Wednesday following a two-vehicle accident at East Irvington Road and South Kolb Road.
According to a news release, a driver of a 1999 Toyota Avalon, whom the Tucson Police Department has identified as Carol Sue McCoy, tried making a left turn at the intersection.
However, an oncoming vehicle traveling northbound on Kolb Road struck McCoy’s Toyota, causing her injuries that would claim her life two days later.
