Four Vehicles Involved in Fatal Seattle Car Accident on Airport Way
SEATTLE, WA (August 29, 2020) – Police confirmed that a woman died in a multi-car accident on Airport Way South on Saturday.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened near South Doris Street.
Based on a report, the victim’s vehicle was parked on the road when the crash occurred. Due to an unknown reason, a King County deputy’s vehicle crashed into the woman’s car. In addition, the incident involved two other vehicles.
As a result, Seattle Fire said that the woman died at the scene. She was in the passenger seat of the car. Officials did not yet release her identity pending notification of next of kin. In addition, crews took a deputy inside the patrol car to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.
Seattle Police said the incident was a possible medical emergency with the deputy. However, they continue to investigate the case.
