Two Pedestrians Die in Crash in Anaheim
ANAHEIM, CA (August 17, 2020) — A man and a woman died following Friday’s pedestrian accident at Lincoln Avenue and North Aladdin Drive.
According to news reports, the tragic incident unfolded around 8:54 p.m.
Two pedestrians, described as a male and a female in their 20s, attempted to cross the street, yet outside of a marked crosswalk. As they tried crossing the street, however, a BMW sedan struck the pair.
Responding paramedics arrived to attempt life-saving interventions, which made no difference—the unidentified male and female died shortly after.
As for the BMW driver, he or she stayed at the scene for police questioning. Although, authorities have yet to determine the underlying cause and other factors that played a role in this accident.
