Two Semi-Trucks Involved in Crash on 10 Freeway in Eloy
ELOY, AZ (August 12, 2020) – Paramedics sent two people to the hospital after a fiery semi-truck crash on 10 Freeway eastbound on Wednesday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near milepost 200 at approximately 9:30 AM.
Based on a report, two tractor-trailer rigs crashed in the lanes. Due to an unknown reason, one truck rear-ended the other. Consequently, one of the semis caught fire in the incident.
As a result, paramedics took one person by an ambulance to a hospital in Chandler. In addition, another victim was flown by helicopter. Officials did not release the condition of the victims.
Police are trying to determine what happened in the moments leading up to the crash. However, they don’t have additional information at this time.
