One Dies in Pedestrian Accident on 15 Freeway [Las Vegas, NV]

Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on 15 Freeway at Highway 95 in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 9, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 15 Freeway on Sunday evening.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 95 near Martin Luther King Boulevard before 10:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, an unidentified vehicle struck the victim at the on-ramps. However, officials did not state the details that led to the accident.
 
Emergency crews said the pedestrian died due to severe injuries. They did not release the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
Officers closed the on-ramp and the Highway Patrol advised motorists to use alternate routes and to expect delays in the area.
