Jeffrey Baker Killed in Head-On Crash on Northwest Lake Road [Camas, WA]

Wrong-Way Driving Leads to Fatal Crash on Northwest Lake Road and Northwest Lacamas Lane in Camas

 
CAMAS, WA (August 10, 2020) – Police identified Jeffrey Baker as the victim who died in a head-on crash on Northwest Lake Road on Monday afternoon.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Northwest Lacamas Lane around 4:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, Baker, 43, of Vancouver, was traveling westbound in a Mazda 6 sedan prior to the crash. Due to an unknown reason, he crossed into oncoming traffic and consequently hit an Audi sedan.
 
As a result, the Camas Police Department said crews pronounced Baker dead at the scene. In addition, the driver of the Audi and four other people inside the car suffered minor injuries.
 
Police did not yet release the cause of the crash. However, the incident is still under investigation.
