RIDGECREST, CA (August 11, 2020) – Police reported major injuries in a multi-car crash near the Golden Ox restaurant on East Upjohn Avenue on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near South China Lake Boulevard around 9:37 AM.
 
Based on a report, four vehicles crashed in the lanes, knocking over the restaurant’s sign. However, officials did not yet release the details that led to the pile-up.
 
As a result, paramedics responded to the scene and reported multiple injuries that were not life-threatening.
 
The Ridgecrest Police Department said one of the vehicles sustained heavy damage to the front end.
