Trevor Jefferson Arrested after Police Chase Ends in Crash on East Queen Avenue [Otis Orchards, WA]
Police Chase Leads to Injury Crash on East Queen Avenue near North Tiara Court in Otis Orchards
OTIS ORCHARDS, WA (August 4, 2020) – Police arrested Trevor Jefferson after a police chase ended in a crash on East Queen Avenue on Thursday.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near North Tiara Court.
Based on a report, officers from the Spokane County Sheriff’s office were pursuing Jefferson along Trent Avenue in Spokane Valley after reports of drug paraphernalia inside his van. Consequently, he drove recklessly, running stop signs and passing vehicles. Other deputies ahead of Jefferson laid spike strips out ahead. The spikes pierced three of the van’s tires. As a result, Jefferson lost control, spun out and collided with the side of an STA bus and a stopped Ford Mustang.
As a result, emergency crews rushed a passenger in the Mustang, Edie Poole, 35, to MultiCare Valley Hospital for injuries. In addition, they did not report any injuries in the bus.
Police booked Jefferson into Spokane County Jail for attempting to elude a police vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, a DUI, and driving with a suspended license.
