Bicyclist Dies in Long Beach Hit-and-Run Crash on Orange Avenue
LONG BEACH, CA (July 27, 2020) – A bicyclist died in a hit-and-run crash on Orange Avenue near Del Amo Boulevard Sunday morning.
According to police, detectives determined that the vehicle struck the southbound bicyclist as it traveled southbound, as well.
When officers arrived at the scene around 3:30 a.m. to investigate, they found the victim in the southbound lane of Orange Avenue. Unfortunately, paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene moments later.
As for the driver involved, authorities have no information surrounding his or her whereabouts.
