Man Dies in Pedestrian Crash on 110 Freeway Near 6th Street [Los Angeles, CA]
Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 27, 2020) — Authorities have yet to release information on what caused Thursday’s fatal pedestrian crash on 110 Freeway near 6th Street.
The crash happened around 11:18 p.m. just before authorities responded to reports of the accident on the northbound freeway.
Upon arriving, police units located the man’s body in the No. 1 and 2 lanes.
As for the driver of the 2016 Toyota Prius that struck him, he or she stayed at the scene and was not believed to be impaired at the time.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian, described as a man in his 40s, died shortly after at the scene. Authorities have not confirmed whether he had been impaired at the time.
