Teen Dies in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident on Charleston Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 21, 2020) — A pedestrian accident on Charleston Boulevard and Sky Vista Drive claimed a teen’s life Sunday night.
According to reports, officers responded to calls around 9:19 p.m. Police found a group of two adults and two juveniles in the area just north of Charleston Boulevard.
In their investigation, officers determined that two juveniles tried running to the south side of West Charleston Boulevard when an Audi, heading westbound, struck a 15-year-old girl.
Paramedics responded with haste and transported the teen to UMC Children’s Hospital in critical condition; however, despite life-saving attempts provided by medical staff, the unidentified teen died at the hospital.
As for the Audi driver, he or she stayed for police questioning and showed no signs of impairment.
The crash, however, remains under investigation.
