Man Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run on Edinger Avenue [Santa Ana, CA]
Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted After Pedestrian Accident near Bristol Street
SANTA ANA, CA (June 7, 2020) – Emergency crews sent a man to the hospital after a hit-and-run on Edinger Avenue on late Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Bristol Street at approximately 11:42 PM.
CHP officers reported that the victim was crossing Bristol Street in a crosswalk when a vehicle traveling southbound struck him. In addition, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping.
As a result, the man suffered from two broken legs. The paramedics sent him to an area hospital for treatment.
No other details are available. However, officers are still checking surveillance footage from nearby businesses to help locate the suspect.
