ANAHEIM, CA (May 29, 2020) — A driver struck and killed a woman in a pedestrian accident on Beach Boulevard near Orange Avenue Wednesday night.
 
According to police, the crash took place around 10:30 p.m. Officers believe the woman was not in a crosswalk when the driver of the vehicle struck her.
 
Following the crash, the woman died as a result of her injuries. The male driver operating the involved vehicle stayed at the scene for police questioning.
 
Authorities determined that neither alcohol nor drugs played a role in the accident; however, an investigation concerning the events that took place prior to the impact, as well as the cause, is underway.
