EL CAJON, CA (May 23, 2020) – A 55-year-old woman suffered injuries in an accident on Flinn Springs Road on Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Blossom Valley Road at approximately 8:35 PM.
 
A report showed that the woman got out of her car to catch a stray dog. However, she apparently forgot to put her vehicle in park. As a result, her vehicle ran her over and dragged her 60 feet from the scene.
 
Paramedics said she suffered arm and leg injuries. They took her to a hospital for treatment.
 
Police did not release any other details at this time. However, an investigation is ongoing.
