21-Year-Old Man Hit by 2 Vehicles After Collapsing on College Avenue [San Diego, CA]
Two Vehicles Involved in Serious Pedestrian Accident near Arosa Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 16, 2020) – Two vehicles hit a 21-year-old man after he collapsed on College Avenue on early Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Arosa Street around 1:20 AM.
The victim fell on the road for an unknown reason. As a result, one vehicle came and struck him. The driver did not stop at the scene. A report from the San Diego Police Department showed a second car also hit the victim. The second driver stayed at the scene.
Emergency crews said the man suffered injuries in the incident.
The driver of the second vehicle had been drinking but was not arrested.
CHP officials did not release the reason why the victim collapsed. However, they continue to investigate the case.
