Cory Troutman Killed in DUI Crash on East 22nd Street [Tucson, AZ]
Karen Burgan Arrested After Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Tucson
TUCSON, AZ (May 15, 2020) – Police identified Cory Troutman as the victim who died in a DUI crash on East 22nd Street on Friday night.
According to the Tucson Police Department, it happened near South Swan Road at approximately 8:30 PM.
Troutman was riding his 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west on East 22nd when a 2009 Toyota Scion traveling east made a left turn in front of him. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
Emergency crews transported Troutman to Banner University Medical Center, where he died the next morning. They did not report other injuries.
The Toyota driver, Karen Burgan, 55, was arrested for DUI and aggravated assault.
Investigators continue to investigate the crash. However, they did not give any further details on the case.
