Pedestrian Hurt in Hit-and-Run on Oakdale Avenue [San Francisco, CA]
Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver near Selby Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 14, 2020) – A 58-year-old pedestrian was hurt in a hit-and-run on Oakdale Avenue on Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near Selby Street around 7:30 PM.
Officers said the man was using a crosswalk when a sedan hit him. The driver did not stop after the collision.
Emergency crews took the pedestrian to a hospital. The victim’s condition was not detailed but he was expected to survive.
Officers later found the involved vehicle. They did not release additional information. However, an investigation is ongoing.
