RENO, NV (May 11, 2020) – A woman suffered serious injuries in a scooter accident on Meadowood Mall Circle on Monday evening.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the crash happened near South Virginia Street shortly after 1:00 PM.
The Reno Police Department said the victim on a scooter crossed the street at a time when the no-walk sign was on. As a result, a car hit her.
Emergency crews took her to the hospital for treatment. A report showed that she sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Police said alcohol was not a factor in the crash. However, they continue to investigate the crash.
