Three Pedestrians Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle in Las Vegas Accident on Desert Inn Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 8, 2020) – Police confirmed that one pedestrian died and two others sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Desert Inn Road on Friday morning.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the crash happened near Maryland Parkway around 4:26 AM.
A silver SUV swerved across the center median. As a result, it turned over and hit three pedestrians who were waiting for a bus. The driver ran away after the crash.
Crews sent one victim to Sunrise Hospital. The victim died due to severe injuries. The other two suffered minor injuries.
No further details are available. However, this collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.
