Pedestrian Killed in Bakersfield Crash
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 12, 2020) — A man and his dog died Sunday night following a pedestrian accident near Fairfax Road and Eucalyptus Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol traffic incident log, the incident befell at roughly 8:35 p.m. Responding officers arrived and found the man and his dog in the roadway. Although emergency crews tried reviving the victim, he died shortly after.
CHP investigators have ruled out impairment as a factor; although, other sources believe factor had played a role.
Information surrounding the driver or circumstances of the crash was not available. If anyone has witnessed this crash, please call the CHP.
