69-Year-Old Driver Dies in Multi-Car Crash on Sahara Avenue [Las Vegas, NV]
10 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash near Lamb Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 20, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a 69-year-old driver died in a multi-car crash on Sahara Avenue on Monday afternoon.
According to the Las Vegas Police, the accident happened near Lamb Boulevard around 3:40 PM.
The victim, in a 1993 Toyota Camry, sideswiped cars in adjacent lanes. After that, it crashed into stopped vehicles at the intersection. As a result, ten cars were involved in the crash. One overturned and caught fire.
The driver who caused the crash died on the scene. However, the victim’s identity was not yet released.
Paramedics transported the driver of an overturned car to Sunrise Hospital for minor injuries.
A medical episode the driver experienced may have caused the accident, according to an initial investigation.
