Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Atlantic Avenue [Long Beach, CA]
Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Long Beach
LONG BEACH, CA (January 7, 2021)—A woman died Tuesday in a hit-and-run crash on Atlantic Avenue and East Market Street.
According to reports, officers arrived and found a woman who’d been struck by a vehicle while in a crosswalk. Unfortunately, the woman died a short time later, but her identity has not been released to the public.
As for the suspect, police officers found no sign of the vehicle, leading them on a hunt for the driver’s whereabouts.
According to investigations, speed may have played a factor in the accident.
