Female Scooter Rider Dies in Cypress Park Accident

CYPRESS PARK, CA (January 4, 2021) – A woman in her 30s was killed Saturday night in a scooter accident near Future Street and North San Fernando Road.

According to police, the fatal incident happened around 10:42 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, police located a woman in her 30s with grave injuries.

Shortly thereafter, paramedics responded and pronounced her deceased at the scene.

Both drivers who stayed and waited for authorities did not appear to have shown signs of impairment. Per police officers, the incident happened as the woman tried crossing a marked crosswalk.
