Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on East Sahara Avenue and Winterwood Boulevard [Las Vegas, NV]
Male Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Las Vegas Crash
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 7, 2021)—A 56-year-old Las Vegas man died in a motorcycle accident Tuesday at East Sahara Avenue and Winterwood Boulevard.
According to officers, police responded to the crash around 2:44 p.m. near South Nellis Boulevard. At the scene, they discovered that a 2007 Harley-Davidson and a 2017 Toyota Camry had collided.
A juvenile in the Camry sustained minor injuries while the man operating the Harley died at Sunrise Hospital.
Per evidence at the scene, police believe that the Toyota driver had just made a stop at the southbound Winterwood Boulevard stop sign. Upon proceeding to make a left turn, the Camry and westbound Harley collided.
The reason behind the crash remains uncertain; however, authorities plan to explore this incident further to determine what had happened.
