Bicyclist and Motorcyclist Struck in Fatal Collision on Otay Lakes Road in Jamul

JAMUL, CA (January 11, 2021) – Sunday night, a motorcyclist and a bicyclist were killed in a crash on Otay Lakes Road near Otay Truck Trail.

According to authorities, the fatal crash took place around 9:30 p.m. Located at the Pio Pico RV Resort and Campground, the motorcyclist and bicyclist collided under unknown circumstances.

Shortly thereafter, firefighters then responded to perform CPR on both victims to which fell short. Despite their efforts, both were pronounced dead.

At this time, detectives have no explanation as to what caused the accident. However, they encourage witnesses with any information to call their offices.
