1 Dead in Two-Vehicle Crash at Greenfield Drive Off-Ramp and 8 Freeway [El Cajon, CA]

Fatal Two-Car Accident in El Cajon

EL CAJON, CA (January 11, 2021) – Early Saturday night, one victim was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Greenfield Drive off-ramp near 8 Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 4:30 p.m.

Under unclear conditions, a Cox Communications cable truck and a small sedan collided, resulting in the death of at least one victim.

Following the crash, officials closed the off-ramp for an extended period to investigate.

Per reports, the driver of the Cox Communications vehicle appeared to be okay and denied hospital care; however, reports featured no details surrounding the other victims.
