IMPERIAL BEACH, CA (December 15, 2020) – A woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Imperial Beach Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Georgia Street around 3:10 PM.
Based on a report, the victim was at the intersection when a vehicle struck her. However, the cause of the accident was not immediately available.
As a result, the woman was hurt in the incident. Fortunately, she was conscious and breathing when paramedics arrived at the scene.
Subsequently, authorities shut down the eastbound lanes of Imperial Beach Boulevard as they investigated the incident.
The driver of the vehicle that hit her stopped and cooperated with deputies. At this point, an investigation into the case is still ongoing.
