Two Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Terminal Way [Reno, NV]
Pedestrians Struck and Injured by Vehicle in Crash on Terminal Way near the Reno-Tahoe International Airport in Reno
RENO, NV (December 31, 2020) – Two people suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Terminal Way on Thursday.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
Based on a report, the pedestrians were crossing Terminal Way in a crosswalk at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the Reno Police Department said a vehicle that was going north ear Villanova Drive struck them.
As a result, one of the victims had minor injuries. In addition, emergency crews transported the other victim to the hospital with serious injuries that were not life-threatening.
Officials gave the driver of the vehicle a citation for failing to yield the right of way. At this point, an investigation into the case is still ongoing.
