Motorcycle and Vehicle Involved in Crash on Sand Canyon Road near Ruthspring Drive in Santa Clarita
SANTA CLARITA, CA (January 3, 2021) – One person suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on Sand Canyon Road on Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Ruthspring Drive around 12:15 PM.
Based on a report, a vehicle and a motorcycle collided in the lanes just outside the Fire Department Station 123. However, the Los Angeles County Fire Department did not yet release the details that led to the crash.
As a result, the motorcycle rider was hurt in the incident. A ground ambulance transported the victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Also, the authorities did not disclose the name of the victim.
It is unknown whether or not the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. At this point, an investigation is still ongoing. Adding to that, officials will release additional information once it becomes available.
