27-Year-Old Woman Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Boulder Highway [Henderson, NV]
Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Boulder Highway at Major Avenue in Henderson
HENDERSON, NV (January 2, 2021) – Authorities confirmed that a 27-year-old woman died in a pedestrian crash on Boulder Highway on Saturday evening.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Major Avenue around 7:00 PM.
Based on a report, the victim was on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a 2020 silver Volkswagen Golf that was traveling southbound on Boulder struck her.
As a result, the City of Henderson Police and Fire said the victim died in the incident. Emergency crews transported her to Henderson Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her name will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after next of kin notifications.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperative with the police. Officials did not consider impairment and speed to be factors in this incident. However, they continued to investigate the case.
