Triple Fatality Following Bakersfield DUI Accident
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 4, 2021)—Three men died following Thursday’s DUI accident at Brimhall Road and Jewetta Avenue.
According to reports, the fatal solo-car accident happened around 11:15 p.m. Upon arriving, police discovered that a vehicle had struck a tree in the center divider.
It appeared that a total of five people had been traveling in the vehicle; three passengers, who had been ejected, perished at the scene.
Soon after the crash, paramedics arrived and tended to the driver and a passenger, who suffered merely minor injuries.
According to investigations, police saw signs of intoxication in the driver and booked the person on charges DUI and vehicular manslaughter. However, the investigation continues, and anyone with information should contact the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111.
