Worker Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in Maricopa

 
MARICOPA, AZ (December 18, 2020)—A construction worker died Wednesday night following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Highway 347 near Casa Blanca Road.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the crash happened while the worker was improving the pavement surface on the highway.
 
Around 9:20 p.m., a vehicle struck and killed the worker and fled without rendering aid.
 
Now, authorities are left seeking the driver’s whereabouts who may have been operating a small passenger car at the time.
