Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Roscoe Boulevard Near Irondale Avenue [Los Angeles, CA]
Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Vehicle in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 17, 2020)—A 46-year-old woman died Wednesday in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Roscoe Boulevard near Irondale Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, police found a woman lying on the street with injuries consistent with that of being struck by a car. However, they found no sign of the vehicle involved, leaving them on a hunt for the suspect.
Shortly after, paramedics arrived at the scene to revive the victim, but efforts fell short– the woman died shortly thereafter.
At this time, police need witnesses’ help in identifying the driver and vehicle, which authorities described as a tan or silver in color, older Chevy Tahoe model.
Anyone with information should contact Valley Traffic Division Officer Takishita at 818-644-8116.
With deepest sympathies, we would like to express our condolences to the family and friends of the victim.
