Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident at West Jensen and South Valentine Avenues [Fresno, CA]
Driver Dies in Fresno Collision With Big Rig
FRESNO, CA (December 10, 2020) — A driver died Tuesday night following a two-vehicle accident at West Jensen and South Valentine avenues.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened around 8:00 p.m. and involved a pickup truck and a semi-truck.
Per witnesses, the northbound pickup driver failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the big rig heading westbound.
Due to the severity of the crash, the pickup truck driver sustained grave injuries and died shortly after. The driver of the big rig, however, did not sustain any injuries in the accident.
According to the investigation, authorities learned that although the driver was not impaired at the time, he was not wearing seatbelt.
