Michael Highline Killed in Car Crash with School Bus on Highway 395 [Reno, NV]
School Bus Involved in Fatal Car Crash on Highway 395 near White Lake Parkway in Beaumont
RENO, NV (December 14, 2020) – Police identified Michael Highline as the victim who died in a car crash on Highway 395 on Monday morning.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened at White Lake Parkway shortly before 07:30 AM.
Based on a report, the weather was a factor in the crash between the victim’s vehicle and a school bus. However, the details that led to the accident were not immediately available. The Reno Police Department said there were children on the bus, but it’s not clear how many.
As a result, the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office declared Highline dead at the scene. In addition, there were minor injuries onboard the bus, but no one was taken to a hospital.
At this point, an investigation into the case is still ongoing.
