One Killed in Pedestrian Accident on East Golf Links Road near South Kold Road in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (December 8, 2020) – Police confirmed that a vehicle struck and killed Ascencion Morales on East Golf Links on Saturday, November 21.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near South Kold Road around 6:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was crossing East Golf Links outside of a crosswalk at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a westbound 2005 Toyota Corolla struck him.
 
As a result, the Tucson Police Department said the 51-year-old man died at the scene.
 
The driver of the Toyota stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Officers believe that neither speed nor impairment was a factor in the crash. However, an investigation is still ongoing.
