One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway [Anaheim, CA]
Three Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash on 5 Freeway near 91 Freeway in Anaheim
ANAHEIM, CA (December 3, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that one person died in a multi-vehicle crash on southbound 5 Freeway on early Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near 91 Freeway at approximately 12:51 AM.
Based on a report, a Bentley, a Toyota Prius, and a compact sedan crashed in the lanes. However, the details that led to the crash were not immediately available.
As a result, officers reported that the collision trapped one person inside a vehicle. They also confirmed that one victim inside the Prius died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s identity pending kin notification. In addition, paramedics transported a woman from the compact sedan to a hospital for treatment.
The Anaheim Police Department is still investigating the case. However, they do not have additional information to share.
