Luis Quinonez Among 3 Dead in Solo-Car Crash on 110 Freeway [Los Angeles, CA]
Luis Quinonez and 2 Others Die in Single-Vehicle Accident on 110 Freeway Near 105 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 24, 2020)—Three people died early Monday in a single-vehicle accident on the 110 Freeway near the 105 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 12:14 a.m. at the 110 and 105 Freeway junctions.
For unknown reasons, a driver of a gray Nissan Altima heading southbound on the 110 Freeway veered to the right. There, the Nissan crashed into several attenuator barrels within the gore point, where two female victims were ejected from the vehicle.
As a result of the accident, Luis Daniel Quinonez of Los Angeles—the driver—and his 19-year-old and 17-year-old female passengers died.
Additionally, a 19-year-old man and another 17-year-old girl sustained unspecified injuries, prompting medical personnel to bring them to Harbor UCLA Medical Center, where one of the three fatal victims died.
According to witnesses, the Nissan Altima appeared to have been traveling about 70 mph before striking the attenuators during heavy fog conditions. However, the case requires more examination, and if anyone has additional insight, please contact the CHP.
This is heavy and heartbreaking news for the families and friends of the victims; our law firm would like to extend its condolences to those who knew Luis Daniel Quinonez and the other two.
