Anthony Brumfield Killed in Bicycle Accident on Losee Road [North Las Vegas, NV]
North Las Vegas Fatal Accident on Losee Road near Plumeria Avenue
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (November 16, 2020) – Authorities identified Anthony Brumfield as the victim who died in a bicycle accident on Losee Road on Monday evening.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Plumeria Avenue around 8:00 PM.
Based on a report, Brumfield was riding eastbound on Plumeria and into oncoming traffic on Losee at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a GMC pick-up truck that was driving south on Losee Road hit him.
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the cyclist dead on scene. An officer from the Clark County Coroner’s Office identified him as 51-year-old Brumfield from Las Vegas.
The driver stayed on scene and cooperated with officials. The North Las Vegas Police Department said that the incident was an accident. However, officers still ask anyone with information in this case to call them at (702) 633-9111 or Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
