Lauren Harvey Killed in Bicycle Accident on North Sandario Road [Tucson, AZ]
60-Year-Old Bicyclist Struck and Killed by Car in Tucson
TUCSON, AZ (November 12, 2020) – Authorities identified Lauren Harvey as the woman who died in a bicycle accident on North Sandario Road on Thursday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near West Tortoise Trail around 6:30 AM.
Based on a report, the bicyclist was traveling south on Sandario and was attempting to turn left on Tortoise at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, an unidentified vehicle traveling southbound on Sandario struck her.
As a result, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said Lauren Harvey, 60, died at the scene.
At this point, an investigation into the case continues.
