Major Injuries Reported as Motorcycle Crashes into SUV on Geiger Grade in Reno
RENO, NV (November 15, 2020) – Officials released a report about a rider’s condition following a motorcycle crash on Geiger Grade on Sunday.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, officers responded to the scene and found the rider with major injuries.
Based on a report, the victim’s motorcycle crossed from the eastbound lane to the westbound lane. Subsequently, it crashed into an SUV traveling westbound on the road.
Emergency crews transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. In addition, NHP followed up and reported that the doctors had to amputate the rider’s leg as a result of the crash.
At this time, the cause of the crash is not yet available. However, officials continue to investigate the case.
