LAS VEGAS, NV (November 13, 2020) – A car struck a Las Vegas Police vehicle in a hit-and-run crash on Valley View Boulevard on Friday evening.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision occurred near Tropicana Avenue around 9:17 PM.
Based on a report, an officer was inside the unmarked police department vehicle at the time of the crash. Subsequently, the driver of the car left the scene, without rendering aid to the officer.
As a result, the detective driving the police car suffered injuries. Police said the hit-and-run driver and a passenger were also hurt in the incident.
