Sandra Ferrell Hit, Killed by Car on North Blackstone Avenue Near East Gettysburg Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (November 19, 2020) — A driver struck and killed a pedestrian Saturday morning on North Blackstone Avenue near East Gettysburg Avenue.
 
According to officers, 52-year-old Sandra Ferrell died in the event that happened just after midnight.
 
Fresno police Lt. Andre Benson adds that the driver, who contacted 911 after the crash, was heading southbound on Blackstone Avenue before the driver’s car struck Ferrell.
 
Per reports, the driver sustained minor injuries in the accident, which remains under investigation as authorities determine the ultimate cause.
